What We Dig

Happy Friday! We hope you had an enjoyable week. Here’s what we dug about our weeks.

Holly: This 11-year-old motivational speaker is just the best. He’s eloquent, thoughtful and rivals my husband for the best (and most) analogies of any conversation. Check this kid out; he has so many mindful reminders to be aware of in our daily lives.

Shauna: Dance! I used to dance all throughout high school and college. Since then, I’ve mostly taken to yoga, but this week, I took a hip hop and a ballet class! It felt fantastic – I’m still sore, but I had the best time and can’t wait to go back.

H: The photo to the left. The minute I saw this wall hanging in a trendy corner boutique in South Africa I knew I had to have it. I figured it’d be way too expensive so I passed it up several times. On our last day, I gave the price a look, it was only $10 USD. I love looking at this piece hanging in my home everyday. Plus, according to my favorite design diva, texture is all the rage (disclaimer: this blogger is also my bestie.)

S: Black gomasio – this is a condiment made out of toasted sesame seeds and sea salt. I’ve been using it a ton and love its striking black color. It honestly makes everything more delicious. Here is a simple recipe if you’d like to make your own!

H: I danced competitively my entire childhood and I credit that to my love for old show tunes. Some of my favorite old songs got a revamp when Gaga & Tony Bennett joined forces in 2014, but I am just finding it now and I couldn’t be more thrilled. These two are my favorite.

S: Zeel – this is an app that allows you to book a masseuse to come to your house – table included! They even offer prenatal massage packages – I love this as a gift idea! I haven’t booked one yet, but might try it this weekend!

Have a happy and healthy weekend!

Love,

Shauna & Holly
