Creative Living – to move beyond what you feel you “should” do according to outside pressure to live in a way that truly feels right.
Lack mentality – when you are hyper-focused on what you have lost in the past or what you are going to get in the future.
Living creatively takes time. You have to get clear about what it is you truly envision for yourself and then you must go toward that despite obstacles and resistance. It takes initial sacrifice to build your dreams from the bottom up as opposed to taking the safer, more comfortable options. Those moments of sacrifice might translate into feelings of lack or impatience.
Feelings of lack aren’t always obvious. You may feel abundant but are still acting in ways that represent a deeper rooted feeling of insecurity in what you are doing.
You have an obligation you don’t want to be a part of. The day of the obligation you feel tired, low energy and unmotivated to do much. You go to the obligation feeling lackluster and underwhelmed.
You have an obligation you don’t want to be a part of. You take the free time you do have that day and put your energy toward working on something that brings you happiness. You go to the event feeling accomplished and joyful.
Move Past the Lack
Lack mentality is something that gets in the way of that trust you have with the energy around you, the universe, God, your angels, or your spirit of choice. Creative living takes persistence and a strong feeling of trust in what you are creating and the energies helping you create it. Next time you notice yourself dreading something, pay attention. Are you coming at the situation from a feeling that you don’t have enough time, energy or abundance? If you are, try to change your perception. The more you can take advantage of the time, energy and abundance you do have, the more secure and happy you will feel.
