The last month I’ve been in a bit of a haze—between stress, to-do lists, and too much future tripping, I let my soul-priorities go right out the window.
And you know what happened? Not that much. I still did everything I had to do. I still had accomplishments. I learned things. I got through my days.
What hasn’t happened: there’s a feeling that I crave, deep down in my core, it hasn’t been filled, and more importantly—it hasn’t been fueled. That’s craving is not going to get filled by checking off my to-do list or fulfilling responsibilities. And the sooner I recognize that, the more “me” I can feel every day.
Soul-priorities: the activities, values, and goals that make you feel alive, that spark your inner being,that make you come alive—that make you feel like your most You.
So this week’s mantra is simple. I recommit to myself. I recommit to my soul priorities.
