Friday Digs

Happy Friday! After three jam-packed this weekend will be one that consists only of downtime. I hope you have something great planned—or that you come across something great by surprise.

But first, it’s Friday Digs!

Turmeric. I can’t get enough of it, I’ve been putting it all over everything — salads, sweet potatoes, avocados, eggs, even my corn on the cob.

I also bought a new bottle of these since I intuitively feel like I need more of this herb in my life right now.

This old favorite book that I’ve been revisiting this week.

Was sent this by my dear friend—I’ve listened every night since she sent it.

I’ve been really into the idea of Korean Temple food recently. Among other things, they abstain from using garlic, onion, green onion, spring onion, or leek—all ingredients with strong qualities that are believed to disturb concentration.

Hazelnuts. Fresh from the farmers market—freshly cracked using my new nutcracker.

Lesson:

I know I must dedicate a portion of

every single day to

quiet and stillness.

It is not a choice. It does not waver.

Only when I make that dedication will I find what I seek.
