Friday Digs

Friday, YES. Weekend plans, yes. No need to go on because well—it’s Friday Digs and I’m really digging the digs this week, so let’s get to it.

Happy reading. Happy weekend!

Pressed flowers. And pressed flower art. And wildflower picking to make the pressed flower art.

A sweet friend turned me onto this new app, I love being able to track how much time I spend on my phone—when I see it in numbers it’s so much easier to put timeline limits on myself.

I’ve done this meditation everyday this week, it’s just what I’ve been needing.

This ol’ classic has made it’s way back into my mailbox.

This. And this.

My Grandma calls this the “one-time-a-year-cheesecake,” and last weekend was that one time of this year. Worth every bite.

This photo of Nola because I mean—really—that face.

Lesson:

When I am meditating and I feel any sensation in my body I twinge and move. This week I’ve focused on staying with it and not moving. It’s been a reminder to stick with an uncomfortable feeling instead of immediately look for an easy escape route. The easy escape route won’t help me learn, grow, or experience.

Stick with it. Stay with it.

I don’t have to move.

I don’t have to shift.

Stay the course and find peace

in the absence of needing to move.

Have a happy & healthy weekend!

Love,

Holly
