Mango Basil Smoothie

On the first day of spring, I’m looking forward to lighter, more colorful foods. Here is a sunshine-y recipe with fresh mango and basil.

 Mango Basil Smoothie (makes 2)

  • 1 ripe mango, pit removed
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 handful of basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups of non-dairy milk(I used macadamia)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 4 ice cubes
  • Add all ingredients to blender and mix thoroughly.
